Bristol Solar Hub is a new initiative born from the Bristol Solar Group. Supported and hosted by Bristol University, the hub aims to provide a digest of all current research on solar technologies and related subjects being undertaken by the universities and research facilities within the Greater Bristol area.
As a part of this, independent comparative testing of solar equipment will be conducted within the university’s estate – with all results being made publically available. Installers will also be able to bring new or untested equipment to the facility in order for assessment to take place.
First installations of test equipment at the University of Bristol are planned for early 2013
